Welcome to Great Plains Family Medicine Residency Program

Neal Clemenson, MD
Director

In 1994, I joined Great Plains to help two of Oklahoma's finest hospitals pool their resources to create a new family medicine program in Oklahoma City. The next year, that dream became a reality and Great Plains began our consistent record of attracting great residents and guiding their transition into outstanding family physicians. Our graduates are well prepared to work in a variety of settings ranging from rural solo practice to urban multi-specialty clinics. GPFM has a highly trained, dedicated and stable faculty, as well as a great staff, state-of-the-art clinic and the support of two excellent hospitals. We prefer to remain a smaller program with big values and great opportunities for the right physicians. Great Plains is a team-oriented, highly supportive and real life approach to preparing the finest family physicians to better balance their life and practices as they serve their patients and communities with passion and compassion.

Check us out here, or better yet, call or email us to set up a visit, so you can see for yourself all the advantages Great Plains Family Medicine Residency Program has to offer.
