Military Medicine at Great Plains

Dr. Clemenson has been the program's director since its inception. He earned his MD degree from Indiana University and completed his residency at the St. Joseph's Family Practice Residency Program in South Bend, Indiana where he was Chief Resident. He practiced emergency medicine for two years and family medicine for six years in Indiana.
Dr. Clemenson was on the full-time faculty of the University of Oklahoma from 1990 to 1994 and directed the University of Oklahoma Family Medicine Residency Program from 1992 to 1994.

Special Interests: Patient-centered obstetrics, health maintenance and cost-effective drug therapy
Career Highlights: Has received several teaching awards, is a fellow of the National Institute for Program Director Development, serves as a reviewer of the Journal of the Oklahoma State Medical Association
Hobbies: Nerd stuff (vintage calculators, slide rules, computers), cycling, hiking (especially in the mountains of New Mexico), relaxing with the family, talking about guy stuff (cars) with his son at Purdue, and trying to keep up with his very busy teenage daughter
